Evanston Gardens Primary School is a small rural school located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.
The School is adjacent to Gawler, South Australia, with a rich 103 year old history.
Our school has beautiful grounds with plenty of space for outdoor play and sporting activites.
Evanston Gardens Primary School has a friendly, settled, experienced group of teachers and school support officers who bring a diverse knowledge and experience in various specialised curriculum areas i.e. Physical Education, Music, Graphic Arts, Outdoor Education, Choir.
Our school carefully analyses the learning needs of students so as to provide a curriculum that is relevant and interesting.
We have a focused Literacy Block in the mornings.
Student Wellbeing is a focus with various Social Programs (eg Program Achieve, Bounce Back) being taught. Our School Counsellor works with groups and individuals to develop positive behaviours in line with our values. Evanston Gardens Primary School staff and children have the right to be happy, safe and clean. The right to learn and the right to teach. At Evanston Gardens Primary School, we acknowledge and respect students' ability to make appropriate choices of behaviour.
